Class Action Certified Against Volvo for Sunroof Defect

A New Jersey federal judge on Tuesday certified six statewide classes of car buyers accusing Volvo Cars of North America of selling vehicles with defective sunroof drainage systems, but declined to certify a nationwide class under a New Jersey statute, saying the law couldn’t be applied nationally.
