Excellent news for the thousands of women who are suffering as a result of having this product placed in their body.A federal jury in West Virginia Friday delivered a verdict in favor of pelvic mesh survivor Jo Huskey for the pain and suffering she endured from a defective pelvic mesh device manufactured by industry leader Johnson & Johnson.

As the court clerk read the verdict, audible gasps and weeping erupted among those in the courtroom. More cases are set for trial in the MDL and New Jersey in the upcoming months.

Medical Device Maker Settles Vaginal Mesh Insert Lawsuit

Coloplast A/S has agreed to pay approximately $16 million in settlements to women who have been allegedly injured by vaginal mesh inserts made by the Danish maker of medical products.
